About me

I love dogs. I hate celery. I change my hair - cut and color - often; right now I’m a super bleached blonde and I’m really digging it! Growing up, I lived in Louisiana, Florida, and Texas… I went to school at Texas A&M University (when it was part of the Big 12) and I still love my Aggies and college football. I moved to Chicago in 2002 and never looked back - I love this city.

My husband and I met walking down the street; he plays hockey and guitar. I have zero musical talent but I love to sing, I will always be off-key, and I can’t clap to a beat. We have two boys (5yo and 7yo) - they love our dog, Lizzy, playing hockey, singing songs, swimming, and riding bikes.

In the 20+ years since I’ve moved here, I’ve worked in architecture, event planning, residential development, construction, and renovations; as a part of each and every one of those gigs, I did design. Space planning, interiors, furniture layouts, organization - I love, love, love creating beautful spaces that work.

I like being challenged. I like finding solutions. And, more than anything, I like transforming homes into spaces where people love to live.
